I've been hanging out with my good friend Butler for the past few days. He flew to London because he's on break from school in Budapest. We've been sleeping late (in part because the crazy French girls in our hostel room like to spread their crap all over our tiny room and spend an hour getting dressed), eating at cafes, and walking all over town to see tourist crap. Fun!
Our plan today was to hop on the City Sightseeing Bus so we could see tons of stuff in the city and hop on and off at the places we wanted to see. Turns out it costs £18 per person to ride the bus, so we said screw that and walked. And walked and walked and walked. There was much walking. And every half hour or so I would shout, "Eighteen pounds for a bus? SERIOUSLY?"
After spending several hours in the National Gallery yesterday we had one goal in mind: no more pictures of Jesus, please. We're lucky we didn't get kicked out of the National Gallery (or smited by God) after all the smack we were talking about the religious art work. To make up for it today we made fun of half the collection at the Tate Modern. We also refused to pay entry admission to Westminster Abbey.
Tomorrow is our last day together (aww sad!) because I'm getting ready to leave for a week in Italy. But first we're going to drink more tea, take more stupid pictures, and tour the Tower of London. Badass.
